【創作理念】
太原古名大坑口，大坑有「仙源」之稱，水出大坑，造就了美妙的田園風景，早期鄉親依水而居。作品以「水」為主題發想，聚合了水多彩多姿的樣態，婉轉穿梭在你我心中，猶如鐵路運輸的流暢運轉。
Taiyuan was known as Da keng kou (big pit), which was also known as the “heavenly fountainhead” as it is the source of the water that irrigated the land and created the idyllic scenery of the town. The lives of early Taiyuan townspeople were centered around water,and that’s why the artist uses “water” as theme and takes inspiration from the variety and permeability of water to create an artwork that reflects the rail-track-like networks that flow in our hearts.

【創作理念】
我在大坑口(太原)望見阡陌縱橫，流水潺潺，天光雲影......，你說「水」不就是「美」(台語)嗎? 於是我知道：水是美的......而雲呢，她是水的化身，輕輕彩雲隨風飄行，來去自如好比快捷便利的運輸。
In Taiwanese, the word “water” sounds the same as the word “beautiful.” And who can say water is not beautiful? In Da keng kou (Taiyuan) people can appreciate the stunning scenery of blue sky and white clouds reflected by gently flowing streams. Cloud is another manifestation of water. The light mist that flies with the wind and travels to far places is like passengers on a great ride.

道德經:上善若水......，水的特性溫柔婉轉千變萬化，滋養大地亦水之德也。在繁忙的都市生活中，冀盼能悠遊如水的溫婉流轉，適性而自在，常保「遊．藝．靜．思」之念，必能心窗淨潔，生活更見順適如意!
The Tao Te Ching said: “The best virtue is like water.” Water is gentle and endlessly changeable, nurturing the world and everything that lives in it. Let’s hope we can learn from the gentleness of watery in the hustle and bustle of our daily lives, to maintain the capability to play, to appreciate art, to enjoy quietness and to think. Then we can be as clean as water and our lives will be as smooth.
